The Sultry Smoke

The Key to this look is to use a palette with shades of brown. Layer shades starting with a kohl liner along the lash line, Makeup In The City loves using a black kohl pencil. For a more defined lash line like Kim Kardashian, use Smolder eye kohl from MAC. For a more natural line use Teddy Eye Kohl from MAC. Then Apply shimmery shadows from lash line to brow bone from dark brown to bronze to tan. Makeup In The City Loves the Victoria Secret palette from there bronze collection. Blend well and finnish with two coats of mascara and some individual lashes for extra drama.

To take this look from bronze goddess to Old Hollywood glam like Angelina Jolie apply your favourite black liquid liner to your top lash.  Stay close to lashes and start with a thin line close to the corner of the eye. Then make it thicker as you extend it a bit past your eyes to the outer edge.

*** A pro tip to obtain the perfect line is to pull your eye taught from the outer corner while looking down. ***

Step up the drama factor even more by lining your bottom inner rim(waterline or tarsal plate) with a water proof eye pencil. I love MAC Technakohl liners.

With either of these looks you will be on fire all night!!!

The key to a flawless, camera ready face is a radiant and glowing complection.  You may achieve this look by prepping the skin with a light moisturizer or serum.

I love, The Body Shop Vitamin C Serum or MAC Strobe Cream.

Following you will need a foundation or tinted moisturizer that will provide you with coverage + a radiance ingrediant. Apply a small amount in hand and warm into finger tips to achieve a silky all over blend and coverage.

What I am loving now! ¬†Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Foundation, followed by YSL Touche Eclat under eye in #1 or #2. ¬†If you are on a budget¬†¬†L’Oreal Magic BB Cream and L’Oreal True Match Touche magique. ¬†Finnish and set this look with Makeup Forever HD Powder.
